Elements of Magic is a core class in the Reclaiming Tradition. It is a great class to help build a foundational practice for those new to the craft, and is also great for honing and revising technique for those who are well practiced.
In this workshop we will discuss the ecstatic, queer, eco-feminist roots of this Tradition as we deepen through the elements and refine our practice of witchcraft.
Some things we will be exploring will be:
*Grounding and Centering
*Circle Casting
*Trance
*Spell-Work
*How to form a Ritual
As this is a community class we strive to make it as accessible as possible. Two solidarity spaces are available for people who are BIPOC, Queer, Trans, single parents, Asylum Seekers or those living with disability or mental illness. Feel free to reach out to us by emailing brandon.bearman@hotmail.com or traceycathcart@gmail.com

About the Teachers:
Tracey Cathcart
Tracey has been practicing Witchcraft for over 25 years ago. Initially practicing solo, and then with groups for over 15 years. She joined a Reclaiming-style coven around 14 years ago and was involved in organising first Australian Reclaiming Camp. She has had a love affair with the community since then.
Tracey’s magical practice draws from astrology, trance, journeying to other worlds, deep listening, the mysteries of sex/pleasure, and relationship with various spirit beings, and sorcerous practices. She has always been drawn to the mysterious and the deeper, shadowy recesses of the soul.
She earns a living as a therapist specialising in trauma, where she is committed to helping others know, love, heal and grow as humans in relationship with the world.
As an active member of the Australian Reclaiming community and she has held roles as a bower priestess at Earthsong and Cloudcatcher witchcamps; witchcamp and community teaching; priestexing community rituals; a member of the Victorian Teachers Cell; and as a general community participant.
She is also a mother to humans and felines, a sewist, sometimes crafter and loves a laugh.
Brandon Bearman
Brandon is a Wildwood initiate and Reclaiming Witch, living on Wurundjeri country. He is a spirit worker, seer, skin turner and fate weaver, with a deep love for herbology, and an interest in entheogenic botany.
Day to day he runs the business' Elfhame with his boyfriend and Dark Forest Botanica for his herbal niches. Aside from this, he reads Tarot and palms and also facilitates workshops and rituals.
His practice is by large ecstatic, sorcerous, gnostic based and animistic with roots in Traditional witchcraft, spirit work and ancestral veneration. When not immersed in a working or divination, he is often found gardening or perfecting recipes of various kinds in the kitchen. As a Pisces he dreams big, and is deeply grateful for his community and Traditions that support him in life.
