Hekate Chthonia comes bearing her torches that guide the way. She holds the boundary between the living and dead, often being called upon for her role as a psychopomp to guide spirits between the veil. This blend is made with plant allies sacred to Hekate that carry necromantic virtue. Together, this blend will help open the way to the vast underworld of the dead and help you remember your way back.

Made in ritual on Samhain night and named after the ghost roads spirits travel, each ointment will hold the energy of this Feast Day and will aid in workings where you desire to thin the veil and call out or draw forth 'the dead'.

This year Samhain falls astrologically on the 5th of May on these lands and so this is when this year's batch will be made.

Size: 15gram tin. 

Ingredients: Achillea millefolium, Artemesia vulgaris, Atropa belladonna, Hyoscyamus niger, Verbascum thapsis, Lavandula angustifolia Essential Oil, Salvia rosmarinus Essential Oil, Grapeseed oil, Beeswax.

Possible Side Effects:

May cause drowsiness, dilated pupils, blurry vision, sensitivity to light, dry mouth, difficulty swallowing and increased thirst, changes in heart rate such as increased heartbeat leading into heart palpitations, loss of coordination, dry fever, dizziness, feelings of falling, restlessness and hallucinations increasing into delirium, difficulty sleeping, and nightmares.

Keep ointments away from mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth and genitals), open cuts and wounds.

Wash hands after use and discontinue use if a rash occurs.

Do not use it while driving or operating machinery.

You may experience a slight cooling sensation.

Effects can last for 6-8 hours.

• Do not use it if you have a ragweed allergy or are allergic to other plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family.

• Do not use if you take medication for or are prone to epilepsy/seizures or blood thinners.
• Do not use it if you are elderly with a compromised immune system.
• Do not use it if you have a Solanaceae/ Nightshade or salicylate allergy.
• Do not use it if you have heart, liver, or kidney issues.
• Do not use it if you have glaucoma or are on medication for it.
• Do not use it if you are already taking anticholinergic medication.
• Do not use it if you are taking MAOIs.
• Do not use the week before or after surgery to avoid overdosing on anticholinergics.
• Safe to use with alcohol, but be aware liquor will increase the nightshades' effects of drowsiness.
